Welcome to our home of free range German Spitz Mittels. We have had great success in recent years in the German Spitz breed achieving Top Breeder 2007, 2009 and 2010. Here at Spellcast our dogs are part of the family home. I have personally been in the dog world for over thirty years now and have been breeding dogs for nearly as long. I started my love affair with Border Collies whilst showing them. However due to an accident, I was no longer able to compete, in my previously favourite event obedience. With this big hole in my life I wanted to find a new breed that I could show but was restricted by the size. So as you can guess the next logical step was the German Spitz Mittel. I have now owned German Spitz for nearly fifteen years and can with say without a shadow of a doubt they are spectacular dogs. I started to compete in the show ring and now currently have three champions in Bradley , James and Leonard. I started breeding again back in 2005 with my first litter of puppies coming from Blur and Leonard, since then with have had occasional litters of these little monkeys. All our Spitz are home reared and are kept in the family home. They are great with my grandson Callum (the love of my life) and the cats (Frankie and Albert).
